Can I chat with creators?
Yes, through the Messages tab — each creator decides who can write to them, and some sell media inside the conversation.
The Messages tab holds both your private conversations and creator channels.
Who can message whom
Each creator picks their setting: open to followers and subscribers, or subscribers only. If sending is blocked, you need to follow or subscribe first. A user can also disable direct messages entirely.
Inside a conversation
- Reply to a specific message by swiping it to the right
- React with an emoji by long-pressing
- Copy or delete your own messages from the context menu
- Send images, videos and voice messages
Paid content in chat
A creator can send a locked media item with a price in Lewds: the amount is shown before anything is charged. Some also set a price to receive your media — the cost is shown before you send.
Automatic messages
Getting a message right after subscribing or following is normal: many creators set up an automatic welcome message.
A conversation bothering you? You can mute it, delete it, block the person or report them from the conversation menu.
