What you need A Lewdy account with a verified email To be 18 or older A valid government ID: passport, driver's license or national ID card A payout method to cash out your earnings The steps Open the Creator page, or tap the central upload button Start verification Provide your first name, last name, country of residence and date of birth Upload your ID document and a selfie holding that document next to your face Accept the Creator Policy Agreement Wait for the decision: usually 1 to 3 business days, sometimes minutes Once approved Your tools unlock immediately: publishing, video editor, subscription price, private-message sales, analytics and payouts. The first thing to do is set your price. If verification is declined The reason is shown on the verification page, with a button to resubmit a corrected application. Declines almost always come from a blurry photo, an expired document, or a selfie where the document is unreadable. Your identity data is handled by a certified verification partner. Only your username is public: neither your legal name nor your documents ever appear on the platform.

How do I publish a video?

File requirements MP4 format 350 MB maximum size 1 minute maximum length Vertical framing recommended, to fill the whole feed screen The steps Tap the central upload button in the bottom bar Pick your file, or drag and drop it on desktop Go through the editor to trim, add text, music or a filter Write the description and add your hashtags Set the audience, the content language and whether comments are allowed Tick the rights declaration, then publish Description and hashtags The description is indexed by search: actually describe the video instead of stacking keywords. Hashtags help topic ranking and feed the trends list. Scheduling a post The Schedule post setting lets you pick a date and time up to 90 days ahead. Until then only you can see the video, and it goes live automatically. After publishing The video is transcoded: it can take a few minutes before it plays everywhere. You can then change its audience, check its analytics or promote it from its options menu. You are responsible for what you publish: only content you own the rights to, with written consent from every person on screen. See Consent documentation.

What can the video editor do?

The editor is built into the app: nothing to install, everything happens before publishing. The tools Trim: start and end handles, 15 s / 30 s / 60 s shortcuts, fine adjustment Text: multiple layers, size, color, alignment, bold, duplication Stickers: place and resize them with your finger Filters: vintage, black and white, sepia, vibrant, cool, warm, dramatic, soft, with intensity control Speed: from extreme slow motion to fast forward, 0.5x being ideal for slow motion Cover: pick the thumbnail shown on your profile Music: search royalty-free tracks, adjust the volume, mixed with the original audio on export Undo and redo The arrows in the top left undo and redo each change, with Ctrl/Cmd+Z on a keyboard. The reset button clears everything at once, with a confirmation — and is still undoable right after. What is final Nothing is applied to the file until you tap Next and publish. Export then applies the trim, the layers, the filter, the speed and the audio mix. A heavy edit on an older phone can take a while to export: keep the screen on and the app in the foreground until the upload finishes.

Who can see my videos?

Subscribers: visible only to your paying subscribers, locked for everyone else. Draft: visible only to you. The audience can be changed at any time from the video's options menu, including after publishing. Private content and per-item sales Your private library stores unpublished media that you send individually in chat, for free or at a price in Lewds. Folders help you organize it. Blocking entire countries Settings › Geo-blocking hides your profile and videos in the countries you pick. Blocked visitors will not find you in the feed, in search, or through a direct link. Blocking one person An individual block stops someone from seeing your content and messaging you. See How to block someone. A good strategy mixes both: public videos so you get discovered, and subscriber-only content to convert the curious.

How do I set my subscription price?

Everything lives under Settings › Subscriptions, the monetization hub of your account. The monthly price Pick your monthly price, free tier included. A price change only applies to new subscribers: current subscribers keep their price while their subscription stays active. Promotion campaigns A time-limited, targeted discount: Audience: everyone, new fans, or expired fans to win back Duration: 24 hours, 3, 7 or 30 days, or until cancelled One active campaign per audience — starting another one on the same audience replaces it Bundles Prepaid, discounted multi-month subscriptions: 3, 6 or 12 months. They raise immediate revenue and lock in duration. A bundle does not auto-renew when it ends. What Lewdy takes The platform share is stated directly on the price settings page, and deducted before your earnings land in your withdrawable balance. Creators who convert best keep an accessible entry price and use "expired fans" promos to bring lapsed subscriptions back.

How do I sell content in private messages?

For many creators, selling per item in conversations is the first source of revenue, ahead of subscriptions. Sending paid content Open the conversation, tap the add-media button Pick a file, or a media item from your private library Add a title and a teaser message Set the unlock price in Lewds, or send it for free Send: the fan sees a blurred preview and the price, and unlocks it if they want Your private library It stores unpublished images, videos and audio, organized in folders. It is your stock: the same item can be sold to several fans without re-uploading it. Charging for media you receive Under Settings › Chat, you can set a price fans must pay to send you an image, a video or an audio message. Useful to filter unsolicited content. Automating the hook Also in chat settings, an automatic message can go out on every new subscription or new follow, with an attached media item, free or paid. Tracking what it earns The "Display earnings per user" option shows how much each fan has spent, right in the conversation list. The Fans page also lets you segment by top spenders. Be clear about what a paid item contains: a disappointing unlock turns into refund requests and reports.

What are broadcast channels?

A broadcast channel lets you write to your entire audience in one go, from the Messages tab. How do I promote my video or my profile?

Boosting a video Open the video's options menu, in the feed or on your profile Choose Promote Pick the duration: 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days The cost and your balance are shown, then confirm For the whole duration of the boost, the video is prioritized in the For You feed. Boosting your profile From your profile actions, Promote my profile puts you at the top of Discover and gives all of your videos a bonus in the feed. Rules to know One boost at a time per target: you cannot stack two on the same video If your balance is too low, the sheet offers to top up directly A boost increases exposure, not appeal: a weak video stays weak Measuring the effect Compare views and engagement before and after, over an equivalent window, in the video's analytics. Boost a video that already converts well into subscriptions rather than your latest post by default: the cost per subscriber gained is nowhere near the same.

Where do I see how my videos and revenue perform?

Per video Open a video's options menu, then Analytics: views, likes, comments, engagement rate and watch intensity per segment — useful to spot the exact second people drop off. Account-wide dashboard Settings › Analytics covers the whole account: Current subscribers and followers, and new ones over the period Profile visits Total revenue and a cumulative curve Average per day and best day Revenue breakdown: subscriptions, private media, tips, messages, referrals Filtering the period Week, month, year, all time, or a custom range with start and end dates. Can an agency manage my account?

Lewdy has an agency system for creators working with a manager or a team. How it gets set up The agency sends you an invitation, visible in your notifications You accept it explicitly, with a consent checkbox You then choose, permission by permission, what the team can do The permissions you grant Chat: reply to your fans on your behalf Payments: manage subscriptions, tips and payouts Media: publish and manage your content Profile: edit your public information Social interactions: like and comment Analytics: show your revenue in the agency dashboard Each one can be switched off independently, at any time. What always stays locked Your password, your two-factor authentication and your payout methods are never accessible to the agency, whatever permissions you granted. Taking back control Settings › Agency lets you change your permissions or leave the agency. You can also stop any solicitation by turning off "Allow agency invitations" in account settings. You can also create your own agency from the Agencies page: up to 3 agencies per account, with owner, staff and member roles.
