How do I edit my profile?

Open your profile from the bottom bar, then Edit profile. What you can change Avatar and cover photo Display name: freely editable, unlike your username Bio: a creator's first conversion argument Social links: website, Instagram, X Discovery settings The Discovery section is not shown on your profile: it exists to make you findable. Pick a category — fitness, cosplay, gaming, ASMR, glamour and more — and up to 5 tags describing your content. Profile privacy Settings › Account groups: public profile or not, online status visibility, whether direct messages are allowed, and whether agencies can invite you. What is not changed here Username, email and password each have their own screen in account settings. See Change my username. Changes are visible immediately. If a new avatar does not show up everywhere, force a page refresh.

Can I change my username or my email?

Accepted Answer

Username Settings › Account › Username. It only accepts letters, numbers and underscores, and must be unique. Changing it is limited to 2 times per account, so choose carefully. Every link shared to your old profile stops working — remember to update your other social networks, your bio and your link in bio. Email address Settings › Account › Email. A confirmation code is sent to the new address: until it is entered, the old one stays active. If two-factor authentication is on, your 2FA code will be requested to confirm the change. Display name Your display name, on the other hand, can be changed as often as you like from Edit profile: it is the visible label, independent from your handle. Confirmation code never arrived? Check your spam folder and the spelling of the address — the code is only sent to the new address.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Resetting On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password Enter your account email address Open the link you receive by email Pick a new password, different from previous ones If you know your current password Settings › Account › Password lets you change it directly, with a strength indicator. If 2FA is on, a code will be requested. The email is not arriving Check your spam or junk folder Check the spelling of the address you entered If you signed up with Google or Apple, you have no Lewdy password: sign back in with that same button With no access to the email address, write to support@lewdy.app from an address you control After changing it This is a good moment to check your active sessions and sign out any device you do not recognize. The reset link is single-use and expires: if it no longer works, request a new one.

How do I secure my account with two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a one-time code on top of your password. It is the single most effective protection against account theft. Enabling it Go to Settings › Security & 2FA Scan the QR code with an authenticator app: Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password and others Enter the 6-digit code to confirm Save your 8 recovery codes: they are never shown again Recovery codes Each code works once and replaces the app code if you lose your phone. Store them somewhere other than that phone. You can regenerate a fresh set at any time from the same page by entering a valid code. When a code is requested When signing in on a new device To add a payout method or request a payout — 2FA is mandatory for creators withdrawing earnings To change your email or your password Your active sessions The same page lists devices signed in to your account, with their last activity. You can sign one out, or all other devices at once: the reflex to have at the slightest doubt. Lost phone AND lost recovery codes: email support@lewdy.app from the account's email address. Manual verification takes time — which is exactly why the codes belong somewhere else.

How do I manage my notifications?

Everything is under Settings › Notifications. Device push notifications The first block enables push on the current device, identified by its model and browser. Each device is authorized separately. On iPhone and iPad, push only works if Lewdy was added to the Home Screen: see Installing the app. General notifications Account security, account information and invitations, subscription expiry, platform updates, direct messages. Creator notifications New subscriptions, payments received (tips and unlocks), likes, comments, new followers, performance reports and payout status updates. If nothing comes through Check the permission granted to the site in your browser or system settings A denied permission has to be re-enabled on the browser side, not just in the app Reinstall the app from the browser if the device was reset Account security alerts are deliberately hard to miss: keep them on even if you turn everything else off.

How do I change the app language?

Lewdy is translated into English and French. Switching language The selector is shown at the top of the Settings page. Your choice is remembered on your device and applied immediately, with no restart. By default With no explicit choice, the app follows your browser language. Content language Not to be confused with content language, chosen when publishing a video: it describes the language spoken in the video and helps recommend it to the right audience. How do I block someone?

Blocking From a profile: options menu, then Block. From a conversation: menu at the top of the conversation, then Block. What blocking changes The person can no longer message you They no longer see your content, and you no longer see theirs Existing interactions stop showing up Managing the list Settings › Blocked users lists everyone you blocked, with search and an unblock button. Softer alternatives Mute a conversation: you stay reachable, without notifications Delete a conversation without blocking the person As a creator, restrict messages to subscribers in chat settings As a creator too, geo-blocking hides your account across entire countries If it is harassment Blocking ends the contact but does not alert us. Report it as well: see How to report content. Blocking does not refund and does not cancel an active subscription: do both separately if needed.

Question 8

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Before deleting Cancel your active subscriptions: deleting the account does not stop them by itself Creators: request a payout of your available earnings, they cannot be recovered afterwards Unspent Lewds are lost and are not refundable Save anything you want to keep: nothing can be restored later Deleting Settings › Account, Danger zone section, then Delete account. A confirmation is required. Creators with active subscribers Self-service deletion is blocked while subscriptions are running, so your subscribers do not lose access they paid for. Email support@lewdy.app and the team will wind things down properly. What happens next Profile, videos, messages and balance are deleted. Some data is retained for the duration of legal and accounting obligations — billing, 2257 compliance, legal requests — then erased. Deletion is permanent: neither the account, nor the username, nor the content can be restored. For a simple break, set your profile to private instead.
